Love the Nespresso Option!

Shopping for an espresso machine, I stumbled across this. We love espresso and recently stayed at a hotel that had Nespresso in the room. It was incredible! But the machines and pods are pricey so we never made the leap.Along comes this machine and now we can make both. And both are amazingly delicious with that bit of foam on top!So why just 4 stars? The machine is a bit finicky. Making espresso, sometimes you just get half a cup so you need to run it again. On the 2-cup setting, you might get two half-cups or one full cup and one half cup.We found that we need to use the 2-cup setting for the Pods to get one demitasse size cup. But this setting gives 2 cups of espresso.Pros:- Heats up quickly- Reservoir holds a lot of water- Completely silent when heating the water- Makes amazing coffeeCons:- Amount of coffee made is unpredictable- A little loud when making coffee but not horrible- The pod holder is VERY hot after using a pod so you have to be very careful if making 2 or more in a row

An ok espresso machine

Very good for the pricing and the feature that you can use coffee pods too, the coffee pod taste very good but when you use ground coffee the taste is very soft, it came out really frothy but the flavor is not there, also the coffee remains came out with a lot of water, unlike other espresso machine I have when it comes out super dry and compact, I adjusted the time and nothing, It improved a little with a puck screen but it still wet, like it never cuts the water flow so it nevers dry out

It does the job!

I love the versatility of this machine, pods, capsules or grinds. This far Ie only seen see capsules, and it does the job. The only thing I would look to improve is it continues to drip when it shuts off, and there a little water that remains on top of the portafilter basket which will spill when you remove it. It not a big deal at all, I still purchase this again knowing this but it did annoy me a bit at first. For the money and quality of the shot, l deal with it.
