Empstorm® Hot & Cold Brew Coffee Machine EM-CB1

This is a bit fancier than many of the machines in this price range, but it does have some interesting features. In particular there is a digital display for indicating function and also pressure, among other things. It's nice to see a pressure gage because you can make sure the machine is ready and functioning properly. Also, something I had not thought of, you can use the steam wand to just make hot water for tea or something. That's pretty cool. But the major function this machine has that others do not is the ability to make cold brew coffee. You just set the switch and add ice to the water reservoir to chill the input water, and out comes cold concentrated coffee. I won't call it espresso, but it's using the same pump to force the water over the coffee grounds. The result is not super concentrated, but drinkable. So, if you are a cold brew drinker, this machine will work double duty for you.

This espresso machine is excellent. It has simple settings, accepts a good amount of water, and is small enough not to take up too much space on the counter. The cold brew option is unique and pushes out decent quality cold brew coffee.
